Overview of ABB controller AC800F

The ABB controller AC800F uses standard Ethernet as the system communication bus, the bus standard is DIN ISO 8802.3.

Ethernet module is the interface device between controller and system bus.

ABB Controller AC800F design with 2 slots for inserting various types of Ethernet modules, with F1… Ethernet modules cannot be inserted or removed when the ABB controller AC800F is running. The different types of Ethernet modules mainly meet the needs of different communication media.

All Ethernet modules have a battery circuit, when the ABB controller AC800F power off, by the battery to maintain the controller main memory information and system real-time clock data. When only one Ethernet module is used, the dedicated battery module M801F/AM811F can also be inserted into the El/E2 slot to provide high energy retention capability.

Use E1811F E1812F E1813F, AM811F module with PM803FCPU plate, used to provide energy electricity kept 16 MB memory information if the battery voltage is lower than the prescribed limit, the module send out alarm signal, the CPU will identify the signal and generate alarm message system.

Different from formula one… F4 slot, Ethernet module is specially used for E1 and E2 slot, through special DMA fast data communication technology, realize the CPU and main memory and system bus equipment data processing.

Automatic module recognition. After the module is powered on and started, the CPU reads special boot parameters from the EEPROM of the module. Once the module is normal, the module is connected to the internal system bus of ABB controller AC800F, and the controller begins to process and calculate with the module

ABB controller AC800F and Ethernet modules access through the internal data bus, allowing maximum data flow, up to 100Mbps data bandwidth

The Ethernet module has its own dedicated communication processing chip, and its corresponding curing program, which also supports the upgrade through the system bus

Each module can generate its own interrupts that are identified and processed by the system according to different priorities

The fault data stored in the module memory can be reported to ABB controller AC800F by specialized fault level interrupt processing

Reserve 8MB memory for accessing the address domain and 8MBI/O memory for accessing the address domain

The module supports connection to 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit data buses. The memory domain and I/O domain of the module can be configured to different data buses
