IC754VSI06STD-LH GE Operator Interface Products line
The IC754VSI06STD is a 6-inch Quick Panel Display designed by GE Fanuc for its Operator Interface Products line. As an operator terminal, the IC754VSI06STD enables users to interface with various types of equipment.
The IC754VSI06STD operates on a MS Windows CE operating system that comes pre-loaded with the Proficy View Machine Edition software. The 6 inch display also comes equipped with an RS-232/RS-485 serial interface. Users are able to input data using the touchscreen. The IC754VSI06STD is powered by a 12-30 VDC power plug. It has an internal memory of 32 MB. Its approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 5 lbs. and 14 x 12 x 10 inches, respectively.
In addition to the primary touchscreen interface, the IC754VSI06STD supports a variety of communication ports. The IC754VSI06STD is equipped with several memory types that satisfy the most demanding applications on the market. A 512MB section of the DRAM is split between the operating system, an object store, and application memory. Functioning as a virtual hard drive, a 256MB section of nonvolatile flash memory is divided between the operating system and persistent storage for application programs.
The IC754VSI06STD features a retentive memory of 512KB SRAM supported by a battery, thus protecting valuable data from being lost during the absence of power. There are no specific dangers associated with an imminent power failure or other unplanned shutdowns. In case of sudden power loss, programs are retained in flash memory, and user data is retained in battery-backed SRAM.
