IS420UCSDH1A is a controller module created by General Electric as part of the company’s Mark VIe system. The Mark VIe is one of the most advanced systems GE sells under the name Speedtronic. These systems are used to manage and control industrial gas, steam and water turbines.
The IS420UCSDH1A is designed as a compact independent controller.
It measures 6.61 inches x 5.90 inches x 2.17 inches and is high x deep x wide. Unlike the controllers on previous Speedtronic systems, this controller does not include backplane connectors. Instead, the controller is installed in the panel and communicates with the associated I/O modules using an onboard I/O network or other interface. The controller is designed to be air-cooled and has no onboard fan unit. It doesn’t yet have a battery or jumper setup. The controller has two CPU cores. It supports only simplex configuration.
