C693ALG221 is an analog current input module for 90-30 series programmabl

 

e logic controllers with four input channels. Each channel of the controller is capable of converting analog input signals to digital signals according to application needs. There are two input ranges to choose from, the default is 4 to 20 mA, and the user data is scaled so that 4 mA corresponds to 0 counts and 20 mA corresponds to 32000 counts. Each 1000 counts represents 0.5 mA.

If a jumper is added to the I/O terminal board, the input range is adjusted from 0 to 20 mA, and the user data scale corresponds to 32000 counts, with each 800 counts equal to 0.5 mA. The module is equipped with two range jumpers: one for channels 1-2 and one for channels 3-4. The IC693ALG221 input module allows a conversion rate of half a millisecond per channel and a renewal rate of two milliseconds for any provided channel. In either range, the resolution of the converted signal is 12 bits.
