April 12, 2023, Changzhou. Technology company Continental Group has announced the launch of Phase III expansion of its second joint venture in China with Jiangsu Changshun Group in Changzhou.
During the entire project, the Changzhou plant will use part of the existing land and an additional 9.2 mu (approximately 6,000 square meters) of land to construct approximately 12,000 square meters of plant, approximately 3,250 square meters of raw material warehouse and approximately 1,500 square meters of supporting public facilities, and convert approximately 1,000 square meters of the existing plant. The project is scheduled to be completed by May 2024.
In terms of equipment, the Phase III expansion project will purchase coater, printing press, pulp mixing equipment, molding machines and various types of auxiliary and environmental equipment. It is expected that the Changzhou plant will have an annual capacity of 13 million square meters of high-performance composite materials and an annual capacity of 35 million square meters of surface materials.
