T8151B Trusted ® Communication Interface adapter A communication interface module used for point-to-point communication
This document provides general information about Trusted ® communication interface adapters T8153. The assembly provides easy access to the communication ports of trusted objects communication interface modules in the controller enclosure for point-to-point communication, DCS and other links, networked PCS, etc., and external connections.
Features:
• Allow external systems easy access to communicate with trusted systems.
• Easy to install, i.e. directly connected to the back of a trusted communication interface.
• Two 10/100BaseT connections.
• Four RS422/485 ports.
• Two RS232 connections (one “complete” RS232).
Trusted communication interface adapter T8153 is designed to connect directly to the T8100 on the back of the trusted communication interface module of the trusted controller enclosure. Assemblies provide communication interfaces to remote systems. The connection between the assembly and the trusted communication interface module is via a 78+2 reverse DIN41612 m connector (SK1). Figure 2 shows the physical layout of the components with the side panels removed
