The 3300 XL NSv* Proximity Sensor system is suitable for centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other machines with stringent installation requirements. The 3300 XL NSv proximity Sensor system includes:
3300 NSv probe
3300 NSv extension cable
3300 XL NSv front-end * sensor. 1
The primary use of the 3300 XL NSv transducer system is for use in areas where countersink holes, side view or rear view restrictions restrict the use of standard Bently Nevada* 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm transducer systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration of axes less than 51 mm (2 in) or measuring axial position of planar targets less than 15 mm (0.6 in). It is mainly used for the following applications of oil film bearing machines with small shafts or reduced side view:
radial vibration and radial position measurement
axial position measurement (thrust)
tachometer and zero velocity measurement
phase reference (Keyphasor *) signal
