Advantech MIO-5377 provides a reliable embedded design. Support 12~24 V wide pressure, 40~85°C wide temperature operation, suitable for critical scenarios. In addition, the board is IPC compliant (IPC-A-610 class) and uses A rugged external coating, which makes the MIO-5377 suitable for extremely harsh industrial/outdoor environment applications.
Certified Ubuntu enables faster and safer deployment of robots
With the widespread deployment of ROS 2 (Robot operating System) in robotics applications, MIO-5377 supports not only Windows 10 iot Enterprise 2021 LTSC, but also Ubuntu 22.04 operating system. Advantech conducts hardware, BIOS, and operating system compatibility tests and starts building software directly to help users save money and time. In addition, Ubuntu OS includes various AI software development kits (SDKS) and a comprehensive software development ecosystem, which allows users to train AI models directly.
The Ubuntu license also states that Canonical will be responsible for its security updates, regular validation on certified machines, and 10-year long-term support (LTS).
