The SDPDP800 series PROFIBUS interface provides a communication channel between the Symphony Plus controller and the PROFIBUS DP. This allows easy integration of smart devices such as Smart Change

The Symphony Plus controller seamlessly integrates field devices through its PDP800 PROFIBUS interface module. PROFIBUS INPUT/OUTPUT and associated control strategies are configured using ABB’S EXTENSIVE Settings WITH FIELD-proven standard FUNCTIONAL CODE ALGORITHMS and S+ Engineering GRAPHICAL design tools. In addition, this data is provided to the other S+ system nodes (i.e., control, operations, Engineering and Information) plant network (PN800).
