NIDEK Transmission Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of NIDEK Corporation, will participate in the “International ROBOT Exhibition 2023 (iREX 2023)” held at Big Sight in Tokyo from November 29 (Wednesday) to December 2 (Saturday), 2023. This exhibition is one of the largest robot exhibitions in the world.
In order to address labor shortages, improve productivity and efficiency, the demand for industrial robots and their required robot reducers is constantly increasing around the world. The theme of NIDECO Transmission Technology is “Changing the Future of Robotics – Recommended Solutions for Reducers”, showcasing the rich lineup of high-precision reducers as key components of robots.

(1) New product precision reducer “KINEX”
The built-in planetary gear precision reducer “KINEX” comes in two types: a lightweight and compact solid shaft type “N series” and a hollow shaft type “C series” that cables and hoses can pass through. When combined with the existing product “FLEXWAVE”, it can provide

(2) New product with multiple sensors built-in precision reducer “Smart FLEXWAVE”
Smart FLEXWAVE “is a precision control gearbox with built-in multiple sensors (torque sensor, temperature sensor, angle sensor). It is equipped with a thin film sensor developed by our company, which helps promote the popularization of smaller, lighter collaborative robots and the Internet of Things in various mechanical devices.
(3) Precision control gearbox FLEXWAVE
It has the characteristics of lightweight, compact, high rotational accuracy, and ultra-low backlash, and is commonly used for joint drive of industrial robotic arms/robots.
(4) Product lineup of high-precision reducers
We will showcase our various gearbox products at the exhibition. We have various reducers such as planetary gears, wave gears, traction gears, bevel gears, hypoid gears, worm gears, etc. to meet customer needs.
(5) Reference Exhibition: Planetary Reducer BLE High Precision Series
Improve the gears of the existing product VRB/VRS/VRT series. It is the latest model with higher angle transmission accuracy, lower backlash, and lower noise.
(6) Reference exhibit: Small planetary reducer BLE VRL-030 series
A new model that is 65% lighter than the existing product VRL-050. Support small motors with a motor capacity not exceeding 30W.
