Nideko Transmission Technology Co., LTD. (formerly NIDEKO Shinko), a group company of NIDEKO Corporation, will participate in the “Tokyo INTERNATIONAL Robot Show 2023 Japan (Tokyo International Convention and Exhibition Center), which will be held from Wednesday, November 29, to Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Tokyo Big Sight ROBOT EXHIBITION 2023(iREX 2023) is one of the largest robotics exhibitions in the world.
In order to address labor shortages and increase productivity and efficiency, the demand for industrial robots and their required robotic reducers is increasing all over the world. Under the theme “Changing the Future of Robotics – Recommended solutions for reducers”, NIDEC Drive Technologies will present a rich lineup of high-precision reducers as key components of robots.
1. List of exhibiting products:
(1) New precision reducer “KINEX”
The KINEX precision reducer with built-in planetary gears is available in two types: the lightweight and compact “N-series” with a solid shaft and the “C-series” with a hollow shaft through which cables and hoses can be threaded. When combined with the existing product “FLEXWAVE”, robotic arms/robots with a variety of axes can be offered to achieve excellent action in a wide range of applications.
(2) New multi-sensor built-in precision reducer “Smart-FLEXWAVE”
The “Smart-FLEXWAVE” is a precision control reducer with built-in multiple sensors (torque sensor, temperature sensor, Angle sensor). It has built-in thin-film sensors developed by our company, which will help to drive the adoption of smaller and lighter collaborative robots and the Internet of Things in various mechanical devices.
(3) FLEXWAVE reducer for precision control
It has the characteristics of lightweight, compact, high rotation accuracy, ultra-low back clearance, etc., and is often used for joint drive of industrial robot arms/robots.
(4) High-precision reducer product lineup
We will demonstrate our various reducer products at the exhibition. We have planetary gear, wave gear, traction gear, bevel gear, hypoid gear, worm gear and other reducer to meet customer needs.
(5) Refer to the exhibit planetary reducer ABLE high-precision series
Improved gears for the existing VRB/VRS/VRT series. It is the latest model with higher angular transmission accuracy, lower backlash and lower noise.
(6) Reference exhibit: Small planetary reducer ABLE VRL-030 series
The new model is 65% lighter than the existing VRL-050. Small motors with motor capacity not exceeding 30W are supported.
