The UR30 is the second of UR20’s innovative series of industrial collaborative robots for the next generation and shares the same architecture as the award-winning UR20. The UR30’s compact size, superior lifting power, and powerful motion control ensure the perfect handling of larger loads, taking co-bots to a new level in terms of speed and load weight.
The UR30 can be used in a variety of scenarios such as machine care, material handling and high-torque screw tightening. In terms of machine care, large loads open up new possibilities, enabling collaborative robots to use multiple clamps at the same time. This means it can take out finished parts and load more materials in a single operation, reducing replacement times and maximizing productivity.
At the same time, the UR30 can effectively support high-torque screw tightening, and can handle larger and higher output torque tools. Thanks to the stable mode function, the UR30 provides straight and consistent screw tightening, which is of great benefit to industries such as automotive.
In addition, with a payload of 30 kg, the UR30 is ideal for material handling and palletizing heavy products in a wide range of industries, and its small footprint makes it suitable for almost all workplaces, reducing the burden of manual heavy lifting. It weighs only 63.5 kg and can be moved easily between working units.
Mr. Kim Povlsen, Global President of Uniao Robotics, said: “Larger payloads and greater flexibility lay the foundation for a new era of automation. “Industries around the world are adopting more agile manufacturing methods and modular production, and one of the keys to this is mobility, which this cobot can meet even with increased payloads.”
“As the industry evolves, the UR30 not only meets and anticipates changing industry needs, enabling companies to effectively adapt and respond to external influences. With our continued innovation, the UR30 is another solid step on our path to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in automation.”
