China-based ForwardX Robotics, an autonomous mobile robot (AMRs) service provider, has deployed more than 2,000 autonomous mobile robots (visual AMRs) in more than 100 warehouses and manufacturing plants on five continents.
Since its founding in 2016, ForwardX Robotics has raised more than $100 million (USD) in funding from well-known investors and partners including Qualcomm, SoftBank, Demtech, Mitsubishi, Intel, Linde, C.Net and Taikang Life Insurance. The company has so far applied for more than 400 patents, obtained more than 190 international patents, and nearly 60 patents in the United States.
