Vaisala, a manufacturer of equipment for meteorological, environmental and industrial measurements, today launched the Indigo300, its new industrial data processing unit. The data processing unit is designed to bring ease of use to industrial applications that require a high level of reliability. As part of Vaisala’s Indigo data processing unit family, the Indigo300 is compatible with the company’s existing Indigo measurement probes. The Indigo300 data processing unit provides greater convenience, compatibility and precision, even in harsh industrial environments.

The Vaisala Indigo300 data processing unit will be available in the third quarter of 2023.

Performance-driven design

The Vaisala Indigo300 data processing unit is suitable for demanding industrial applications that require accurate measurement of a single parameter. Robust IP65-rated metal housing ensures reliable performance in harsh conditions. In addition to supporting a smart probe, the display also allows local data visualization.

The Indigo300 data processing unit allows easy connection to INDIGO-compatible measurement probes.

“With the Indigo300, our customers can accurately and reliably measure multiple parameters and access the data link provided by the Indigo ecosystem. In addition to Vaisala’s quality and performance, the data processing unit is pre-configured in the factory, making installation quick and easy.” Lehto added.

The Indigo300 is a durable data processing unit with a metal housing that can be used with Vaisala Indigo compatible smart probes to measure humidity, temperature, dew point, carbon dioxide, vaporized hydrogen peroxide and water in oil. The probe can be easily replaced when needed.
