The competition set two questions, respectively, zero carbon design project “Guangzhou Science and Education City Culture and Technology Museum” and zero carbon promotion project “Guangzhou Public Utilities Technical College Community Complex Building”. The project is located in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, backed by Xiushan and adjacent to Xifu River, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation, which is suitable for teaching and educating people. Combined with the “dual carbon” policy orientation, the contest aims to promote the application of renewable energy in buildings, create a demonstration window for the green and low-carbon concept of science and education city, and explore the path of zero-carbon building construction.
