Parker Hannifin, a pioneer in motion and control, recently announced the VA Series of next-generation pre-compensated load sensing (LS) valves designed for the demanding applications of walking machinery.
The VA series travel mechanical directional control valves offer cutting-edge product performance, excellent maneuverability and robustness, greater flexibility and greater modularity. These valves are designed to meet the upcoming demands of challenging industries such as forestry, construction machinery, mining and material handling.
Parker Hannifin’s high-end L90LS and K220LS valves are known for their robustness, controllability and flexibility, and the VA series valves are designed on this basis. The next generation of pre-compensated LS valves has been significantly improved
and increased modularity to provide customers with an efficient solution. These valves are designed to reduce installation space and increase installation possibilities, while optimizing channels to minimize flow loss.
The VA Series operating ports have a maximum flow rate of up to 450 l/min, taking performance to a new level after the K220LS valve. The VA series is optimized with features such as on-board electronics to meet Industry 4.0 or any other future needs related to iot and diagnostics. In addition, the new valve family also includes new hydraulic functions – proportional back pressure valves for active fuel and preheating functions, and other performance improvements, all of which herald the arrival of the next generation of mechanical direction control valves.
With the VA series, Parker is able to continue to provide customers with high-end solutions, including the use of different functional spool, seamless integration of a variety of custom designed functional valve groups. From raw materials to finished products, the VA Series focuses on sustainability and energy efficiency to reduce the overall environmental footprint and live up to Parker’s corporate mission of a Better tomorrow.
