“At present, carbon reduction in the construction sector has become an important part of achieving the goal of ‘double carbon’. Honeywell adheres to the development strategy of ‘East serves East’, based on local innovation, and actively promotes the upgrading and transformation of China’s construction industry.” Yu Feng, president of Honeywell China, said, “The ECC200 edge network controller released this time will provide building operations managers with more efficient and comprehensive smart building solutions, and help China’s construction industry achieve a sustainable strategy of carbon dual control.”
BEATs (Building Edge Advance Technologies) is a smart building low-carbon solution launched by Honeywell under the national dual carbon strategy based on the Internet of Things architecture for building energy saving and digital transformation. The new BEATs family member ECC200 edge network controller launched this time is based on Honeywell’s deep strength in the global control field, aiming at the needs of the Chinese market and independently developed and produced localization products, from the security, practicality, product performance, architecture flexibility and other dimensions to bring users a better experience.
The ECC200 edge network controller can collect and analyze data from intelligent terminal sensing devices to determine the potential energy saving space of the building, and dynamically adjust the operation control policy through logical construction. The ECC200 edge network controller can achieve energy saving and carbon reduction by data management, control and optimization, and realize the autonomy of the edge side from the architecture. Combined with Honeywell’s smart building energy management platform, building automation software, intelligent end sensors and actuators and other products, to provide users with a comprehensive closed-loop management solution for building perception, connection, collaboration, and control.
In addition, the ECC200 edge network controller can be seamlessly connected to Honeywell Carbon dual control and smart building operation management platform, so as to introduce more professional building operation and maintenance expert database analysis, artificial intelligence algorithm to achieve predictive maintenance of equipment, and achieve accurate energy saving control of HVAC, intelligent lighting and other systems according to big data load prediction. Through the way of cloud edge collaboration to achieve carbon dual control sustainable complete closed loop.
Honeywell has long been committed to sustainable development and digital transformation in the field of smart buildings, and has proposed a one-stop end-to-end solution of hardware and software integration, strong and weak electricity integration, cloud edge integration, using technology to achieve indoor environment comfort, health and safety, and help achieve a “non-inductive intelligent” environmental experience. In the future, Honeywell will continue to promote the application of iot technology in the field of smart buildings from the three aspects of software, hardware and services, and create standardized and universal solutions that are easier to use, helping building owners create a more healthy, safe and sustainable building environment, while taking into account operational efficiency and enabling the sustainable development of building buildings.
