The rewinding slitter machine is a paper processing equipment that cuts and rerolls wide web paper into different widths and diameters. A machinery factory in Zhejiang Province mainly produces corrugated paper and box board paper. In daily production, the rewinding slitter machine has two problems, including complicated tool changing operation and long tool changing time; The cutting tool equipment is in poor condition and the cutting effect is unstable.

The driving layer of the system scheme mainly selects three GD350 series frequency converters, all of which use closed-loop vector, traction speed mode and winding AB torque mode. The winding tension is controlled by the proportional valve by the PLC analog output.
The start and stop of 3 frequency converters are all controlled by PLC output, 485 communication reads the current status of 3 frequency converters and controls the torque of winding AB, the analog output of traction (current speed) is given to the analog input of winding AB (torque mode speed limit), and the whole system adopts a common DC bus mode, and the electricity emitted from the machine can be returned to the host. Reduce the waste of energy through energy-consuming brake resistors, which are configured on the traction to allow for shutdowns and emergency stops.
