HYDRAN M2 GE HYDRAN M2
Hydran M2 is a continuous on-line solution of complex gases (hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), ethylene (C2H4), acetylene (C2H2), and water in oil) monitoring device, to alert workers to transformer failure conditions. It provides critical monitoring information and minimizes the risk of unplanned outages. By connecting additional sensors, such as top and bottom tank oil temperatures, transformer load, or ambient temperature, additional information can be captured and correlated with DGA and humidity values for a deeper analysis of transformer condition. This rich data can not only be transmitted raw using the various communication options of M2, but can also be transformed into useful information by on-board calculations based on IEEE standard transformer mathematical models to provide more state information.
The characteristics of the sensor include: miniaturization, digitalization, intelligence, multi-function, systematization, networking. It is the first step to realize automatic detection and control. The existence and development of sensors make objects have senses such as touch, taste and smell, and make objects slowly become alive. Usually according to its basic sensing function is divided into heat sensitive elements, light sensitive elements, gas sensitive elements, force sensitive elements, magnetic sensitive elements, wet sensitive elements, sound sensitive elements, radiation sensitive elements, color sensitive elements and taste sensitive elements and so on ten categories.
