CI873 is an AC 800M communication interface that connects to an external Ethernet device using Ethernet /IP protocol. The TP867 substrate has two RJ45 Ethernet connectors, but only uses the CH1 connector that supports 100Mbps. The CI873 extension unit contains the CEX bus logic, the communication unit, and the DC/DC converter, which supplies the desired voltage from a +24 V power supply via the CEX bus. The new S200CI873IoHwlib adds support for the S200 I/O adapter 200-AENTR used with CI873. This new adapter provides an easy and cost-effective upgrade route for directly connected S200 I/O on the SattCon 200, SattLine 200, Advant Controller 210, Advant Controller 250, and AC 800C. The 200-AENTR has two Ethernet ports with built-in switches, which means that the adapter can be daisy-chained to the CI873 using a cross-wired Ethernet cable without an external switch.
