The IS420UCSBS1A is a controller for GE Mark VIe systems. This was one of the last Speedtronic systems released by GE for managing industrial gas and steam turbines. The IS420UCSBS1A is one of five UCSB controllers available in the Mark VIe system. It is a quad-core controller that delivers high performance and optimal reliability. The unit was built around the QNX Neutrino operating system running on a 1066 MHz Intel EP80579 microprocessor. The system uses Boolean logic control block language in relay ladder diagram format. This format supports Boolean logic as well as 16-bit and 32-bit signed and unsigned integers and 32-bit and 64-bit floating-point programming.
The IS420UCSBS1A weighs 2.4 kg and is designed to operate in ambient temperatures from -22 to +149 degrees Fahrenheit. GE Manual GEH-6721 Volume 1 contains more information about the technical requirements and environmental limitations of this device.
