The 3500/42M is a Proximitor Seismic Monitor component developed by Bently Nevada. It is a four-channel monitor with proximity and seismic sensor inputs. It compares the conditioned signal to a user-programmable alarm and conditions the signal to produce vibration and position readings. The 3500 rack configuration software can be used to program each channel to monitor and report radial vibration, thrust position, REBAM, acceleration, differential expansion, eccentricity, velocity and other parameters.
BENTLY NEVADA Bentley 3500/42M Features:
Monitoring channels are set in pairs, and at most two designated functions can be performed at the same time. For example, channels 1 and 2 can perform one function while channels 3 and 4 perform another or the same function.
Proximitor Seismic Monitors protect machinery by triggering an alarm by comparing monitored parameters with selected alarm set points in real time. It notifies operations and maintenance employees about critical machine information.
By arrangement, each channel typically conditions its input signal to produce a static set of values. Alarm setpoints can be established for any current static value, and hazard setpoints can be set for any two of them.
