Anti-jump relay:
Basic functions:
Used to protect circuit breakers from multiple closing instructions. Once the circuit breaker is closed means that if we issue the closing order again, it means that the circuit breaker or the closing coil associated with the mechanical component may be damaged. To avoid these frequent commands, the panel manufacturer is wiring these circuits correctly within the circuit breaker closing circuit itself.
The anti-jump relay is only a normally open contact, which means that the relay will act as normally open when the circuit breaker is in the closed state, and normally closed if the circuit breaker is in the open state. Anti-jump relay and circuit breaker closing circuit in series. Under normal conditions (when the circuit breaker is on), the relay allows the circuit breaker to close. If the circuit breaker is once closed, the NC in series becomes normally open, so the relay does not allow current to flow in the closed coil after closing the circuit breaker (since NO operation R= infinity, 0= current) These cables are mainly used for generator/alternator circuit breakers, power grid circuit breakers, and other auxiliary high-voltage circuit breakers.
Note: All types of breaker closing circuits must be equipped with anti-jump relays.
