Oil pumping method: The oil pumping method is mainly deep well pump oil recovery, which can be divided into two categories: rod pump oil recovery and rodless pump oil recovery.
①Rod pump oil production:
Rod pump oil production refers to the artificial lift oil production method in which the pumping unit drives the piston of the downhole oil pump to reciprocate up and down through the sucker rod lowered into the well, and pumps the oil to the ground. This method is used the most, accounting for about 80% to 90% of the total number of artificial lift production wells in the world.
② Rodless pump oil production:
Rodless pump oil production refers to the use of electric motors, high-pressure liquids, etc. to drive downhole pumps without using sucker rods to transmit power, that is, to use special oil well pumps such as electric submersible centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, jet pumps, and hydraulic piston pumps to extract oil. They are respectively called electric submersible pump oil extraction, screw pump oil extraction, jet pump oil extraction, and hydraulic piston pump oil extraction.
The motor goes down into the oil well hundreds of meters or even thousands of meters away, and a special cable is lowered from the wellhead to connect to the submersible motor. When the cable is powered, the submersible motor rotates to drive the multistage impellers of the submersible centrifugal pump to rotate. Each stage of impeller adds a certain amount of energy to the oil at the bottom of the well, just as a pump increases the pressure of water. When the oil is rotated by the multi-stage impeller, the pressure will rise very high, so the oil will be lifted from the bottom of the well to the well head. The submersible motor directly drives the submersible centrifugal pump, which saves unnecessary power consumption. Therefore, its power is much higher than that of the pumping unit, which can save electricity. It can be used in very deep high-production wells, and it is also convenient for the automation of oilfield production. In addition to electric submersible pumps, there are artificial lift oil recovery methods such as screw pump oil recovery, jet pump oil recovery, and hydraulic piston pump oil recovery.
