Statistics show that Changsha has 1 national industrial Internet “double span” platform, 28 provincial industrial Internet platforms (44 in the province), and nearly one million industrial equipment connected to various industrial Internet platforms.

The industrial Internet continuously provides a strong core engine for a group of construction machinery enterprises such as Sany, Zoomlion, and Sanhe Intelligent. Sany Heavy truck Intelligent Factory has the largest heavy truck production line in Asia, with full coverage of automation, industrial Internet, digitalization, 5G and other technologies. The information efficiency is 10 times higher than that of traditional factories, and the welding automation rate exceeds 95%.

In the welding workshop, KUKA robot +3D video guidance system realizes 100% automatic operations such as welding, gluing and piping. Automatic spraying of 15 colors is realized in the painting workshop, and the efficiency is increased by 10,000 units/year…… With the support of the industrial Internet, the factory will achieve annual sales of more than 100,000 vehicles and an output value of 15 billion yuan after full implementation.

Hunan Industrial Internet Innovation Center provides transformation services for enterprises facing the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. In this innovation center, the virtual production line is coordinated to continuously optimize the production process of the real production line. “In this production line, the innovative technologies we have verified include 5G technology, artificial intelligence technology, digital twin technology and AR technology. Through this series of technologies, enterprises can enable production and operation, and greatly improve the production efficiency and intelligence level of enterprises.” Hunan Industrial Internet Innovation center head Li Yu introduced.

Intelligent manufacturing enterprises supported by the industrial Internet are growing on the fertile soil of the digital economy. Located in Wangcheng economic development zone, Gaoxing Logistics Park, as the central warehouse of Changsha’s largest community group-buying platform – Xingsheng Preferred, has an average of more than 2,000 delivery vehicles entering and leaving every day. The reporter learned that Wangcheng Economic Development Zone took the lead in the province to build a regional industrial Internet platform, and enterprises in the park can use five categories of application scenarios for free to achieve digital transformation in eight aspects such as product process design, planning and scheduling, production operations, warehousing and distribution, one thing at a time.

Digital economy leading industrial transformation and upgrading has become the general trend of the industry. At present, Changsha is fully promoting the construction and integrated innovation and development of new information infrastructure represented by 5G and industrial Internet, and has been fully completed and approved by the first batch of “Gigabit cities” in China, ranking first in the province in a number of key indicators, and leading in the central region.
