The comX communication module is designed to equip automation equipment with industrial network interfaces. Here, all communication tasks are executed independently on the module – independent of the target platform processor. comX supports a variety of real-time Ethernet protocols as master or slave and meets a variety of network-specific requirements in one module. To support linear topologies, the module is equipped with two Ethernet ports. By loading the appropriate firmware and master authorization, the protocol can be switched quickly and reliably.

1In addition to real-time Ethernet communication, there is an integrated network web server and an additional transparent Ethernet channel for implementing your own IT solutions in the main processor of the automation device.
