Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, today announced that the company has been named to Fortune magazine’s 2022 “World’s Most Admired Companies” list. This is the first time Johnson Controls has made the list.

To determine the companies on the list, Fortune partnered with Korn Ferry to conduct a comprehensive survey based on nine corporate reputation indicators, including innovation, ability to attract and retain talent, and social responsibility in supporting communities and protecting the environment. A total of 3,820 qualified raters, executives and directors from Fortune Global 500 companies participated in the analysis, evaluating companies across 52 industries based on their knowledge of the company and its reputation. This year marks the first time Johnson Controls has made the list.
