On July 21, 2023, at the 19th Industrial Automation and Standardization Seminar, the Comprehensive Technical and Economic Institute of Machinery Industry Instrumentation (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) and the CC-Link Association (hereinafter referred to as the CLPA) signed a cooperation agreement to build a CC-Link product certification testing laboratory. The two sides will further leverage their respective complementary advantages to help the development of industrial network technology and product ecological construction, and serve the digital, networked and intelligent development of China’s manufacturing industry.

Since 2004, the Institute has established an important strategic partnership with the CLPA, jointly carrying out research on the technical content and application adaptability of IEC 61158 Type 18 and Type 23, IEC 61784 communication protocol family CPF 8 and other standards. At present, CC-Link, CC-Link IE and CC-Link Safety have been widely used in electronics, liquid crystal, new energy, semiconductor, new energy vehicles and other industries, and more and more domestic manufacturers have developed related products. The joint construction of CC-Link product certification testing laboratory will provide development consulting and certification testing services for Chinese manufacturers, which is of great significance to promote the research and development of industrial network products in China, improve the quality infrastructure of industrial network, and enhance the level of intelligent manufacturing capabilities.

The Institute has a laboratory of measurement and control equipment and systems, which is recognized by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). Has OPC UA, WIA-PA, MODBUS, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, HART, KNX and CC-LINK more than 10 kinds of mainstream industrial network product certification testing capabilities, For more than 300 domestic and foreign manufacturers to provide more than 500 products in line with international standards and national standards of consistency and interoperability testing.

CLPA is a non-profit, neutral organization with 11 branches worldwide responsible for the development, popularization and application of CC-Link network technology.
