On July 21, during the 19th Workshop on Industrial Automation and Standardization (IASF), Dr. Zhu Xiaoxun, Executive Vice President of Siemens (China) Co., LTD., President of Siemens China Research Institute and General Manager of Siemens Aiwendar China, and Ouyang Jinsong, director of the Comprehensive Technical and Economic Research Institute of Machinery Industry Instrumentation (hereinafter referred to as “SI”), signed the “Industrial Digitalization and Scientific and Technological Innovation Strategic Cooperation Agreement”.
According to the agreement, the two sides will build on the existing foundation of China-Germany intelligent manufacturing technology innovation cooperation, jointly create an industrial metauniverse laboratory, and help manufacturing enterprises to optimize and improve the use of industrial metauniverse solutions; Jointly promote the ecological construction and industrial application of Workflow Canvas, a new generation of industrial digital integration development kit; Jointly commit to basic common technology research, train industrial digital talents, fully learn from the development and growth experience of German hidden champion enterprises, and serve the digital transformation of Chinese enterprises.
As an important unit of the Sino-German intelligent manufacturing technology Innovation Cooperation Alliance, Siemens and SI have cooperated for more than 30 years, and are important partners of each other and leaders of Sino-German intelligent manufacturing technology innovation and industrial cooperation. The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement will help further deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany and promote the work of the alliance. On the basis of the existing cooperation, the two sides will build a long-term and sustainable friendly cooperative relationship with their respective advantages and resources, provide mutual support for the business development of the two sides, and jointly build the digital ecology of China and Germany.
