Since its inception in 2007, MECA has attracted more than 600 universities and 12,000 teachers and students to participate. It has become an important competition for innovation and creation widely recognized by teachers and students of universities across the country.
With the theme of “Smart Youth • Create the Future”, 825 teams from 271 universities across the country participated in this year’s competition, far larger than the previous one. After fierce competition, 86 teams from 65 universities in the country stood out and successfully advanced to the national finals.
As in previous years, the competition has set up two competitions: innovative design and system application. The innovative design competition focuses on the application of new technology, green and low-carbon, and can be controlled, and fully taps students’ creativity. System application competition focuses on vocational skills competition, emphasizing hardware design, software programming, installation and debugging, management security and other post skills.
