Ride the east wind, stand at the forefront of the tide, and make “5G+” a new driving force for economic development
The 5G era is coming, and whether we can play the “5G+ Industrial Internet” first hand chess, taking the “east wind” of the development of information technology, to a large extent, means whether we can brave the tide in the fourth industrial revolution.
At present, Anhui is actively accelerating the layout of “5G+ industrial Internet” and striving to transform and upgrade the manufacturing industry through digital empowerment. According to the relevant person in charge of the provincial Economy and Information Department, in recent years, our province has adhered to the guidance of “5G+ industrial Internet”, strengthened policy support, strengthened infrastructure construction, deepened integration and innovation applications, accelerated the cultivation of industrial ecology, and promoted the digitized, networked and intelligent development of manufacturing. In 2019, the added value of the digital economy in our province exceeded 1 trillion yuan for the first time.
As of the end of August this year, 18,400 5G base stations have been built in the province, and 16 provincial cities have implemented 5G network commercial coverage; The province has initially built 100 5G scenario applications. A number of national pilot demonstration projects have emerged, such as the integrated innovative application of Masteel factory, the integrated innovative solution of the whole industrial chain of Sitter fertilizer based on the industrial Internet platform, and the intelligent environmental sanitation equipment based on the Internet remote operation and maintenance service of Jinlu Environment.
The digital literacy of enterprises has been significantly improved, and the province has accumulated more than 1,000 enterprises through the national “two” integration management system standard assessment, ranking fourth in the country. According to the 2019 China Digital Economy Development Index White Paper by CCID Research Institute, Anhui’s industrial digitalization index is 44.5, ranking first in the country.
“In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world faces more uncertainties, and digital transformation and the fourth Industrial Revolution will continue to accelerate. It’s both an opportunity and a challenge.” Yu Xiaohui believes that Anhui, as a large manufacturing province, should further establish a forward-looking vision, do a good job of planning and layout, fully integrate 5G into the manufacturing industry, give full play to its high-speed and stable information advantages, and create an important element and “gene” in the manufacturing industry, and become a new driving force for economic development.
“At present, the development of China’s 5G field is increasingly advanced; In the future, we will lead the world in 5G and industrial Internet.” Xiang Ligang said that we should take active actions, walk in the forefront of technology, do a good job of integration and “addition”, and meet the new era of 5G together.
