(1) Fix the Viada battery to avoid vibration and shock. After the battery is fixed inside the machine, do not use it upside down for a long time. When fixing the battery, be careful not to press the device used to fix the battery (or stick the logo) against the upper cover, and there is an exhaust valve under the upper cover. If the upper cover covering the exhaust valve is pressed, the gas generated in the battery cannot escape.
(2) Because the battery will produce flammable gas (hydrogen) during charging or storage, do not place the battery in a place with sparks (switches, fuses, etc.)
(3) Do not use closed containers and containers with the accumulation of flammable gases to contain batteries. To avoid the accumulation of flammable gases, use a battery container with upper and lower air holes. If the accumulation of flammable gas, fire will destroy the NP battery container.
(4) When the battery is put into the equipment for use, in order to prevent the temperature of the battery from rising, it is better to set the battery at the bottom of the machine, and when arranging the battery, the temperature difference between the battery should be below 3 ° C, but also consider the container’s change pores and so on. In addition, avoid battery contact with the inner wall of the machine or contact with each other.
(5) Do not place the battery next to hot objects (such as transformers, etc.).
(6) When using multiple batteries, pay attention to the correct connection between the battery, pay attention not to short circuit.
(7) When wiring, be careful not to get the polarity wrong.
When connecting the battery to the charger or load, the switch of the line should be turned off first. When connecting 24Ah or higher battery lead alloy terminals with bolts, apply anti-rust agent (petroleum jelly) to the terminals and tighten them according to the torque value listed below. If it is not tight enough, it is loose, and sparks and dangers will occur when large currents flow. After connection, apply a thin layer of anti-rust agent to the contact of bolt, nut and connecting conductor.
(8) Number of parallel connections
When floating charging, the plug-in terminal battery can only be connected in a maximum of three rows, and there is no special limit for bolt-fastened terminals, but the number of parallel connections is small and the reliability is increased. In addition, when connecting in parallel, it is necessary to consider that the wiring conductor and contact resistance between the columns are the same, so that the charge and discharge current of the columns is balanced, and the actual use should not exceed three columns.
During cyclic charging, parallel use may shorten life and damage, please avoid parallel use.
(9) When using batteries with different capacities, new and old, and different manufacturers at the same time, the battery and the machine may be damaged due to their different characteristic values, so please avoid using.
(10) Avoid placing Viada batteries in the vicinity of organic solvents such as gasoline, banana water, and other oil items, and avoid direct contact with them. The battery may crack in case of contact with the above items. If a bracket made of synthetic resin is used instead of an iron bracket, pay attention to the selection of synthetic resins without plasticizers.
