Siemens also showcased its full range of medium-voltage distribution equipment, known for its reliability. Among them, the newly upgraded NXAirS 24kV air insulated switchgear has higher parameters, up to 31.5kA, 4000A, which can better meet the needs of many industries such as data centers and electronic factories. The addition of a smaller 800 mm cabinet width further improves the efficiency of the power distribution room. The market-proven NXAirS 12 kV air-insulated switchgear is known for its two “5s”. With Siemens’ own technology, the SIQuench Fast Quenching system, NXAirS can quench the arc within 5 milliseconds of the occurrence of an arc failure, which is much shorter than the peak pressure time that can cause damage to the switchgear, and restore power to the distribution system in a short time, minimizing the loss caused by outages. In addition, blue GIS, the Siemens environmentally friendly gas-insulated switchgear previously debuted at the EP International Power Show, is now widely used in various industries. The insulating gas of the equipment is completely composed of natural components in the air, which requires no additional treatment after use and is environmentally friendly. In addition, the switchgear continues to use the widely proven Siemens vacuum switching technology, providing maintenance-free, space-saving, safe and reliable power supply. blue GIS is widely used in scenarios that require higher power distribution security. At the booth, Siemens also presented a full range of Siemens smart devices that enable data transparency to help power distribution equipment become “expressive.” The newly released 6MD685 medium voltage intelligent switchgear monitoring device of the exhibition can monitor and analyze the status of the switchgear, achieve online temperature detection, online mechanical characteristics detection, electrical life monitoring and abnormal alarm of the switchgear, and transmit real-time data to the operation and maintenance system for intelligent analysis through the Ethernet interface to improve operation and maintenance efficiency. In addition, the newly released 3AE8 intelligent vacuum circuit breaker can monitor and fully display the status of the vacuum circuit breaker in real time, achieving equipment prevention and predictive maintenance mode. The 7SJ686+ intelligent protection device allows traditional switchgear to be intelligent, and online monitoring can be achieved through SICAM STUDIO.
