With the new 16-point configurable module in the Allen-Bradley® ArmorBlock 5000® I/O portfolio, industrial manufacturers are expected to optimize their operations and further increase efficiency. These I/O modules offer unmatched configurability and integrated I/O capabilities that help increase the flexibility and accuracy of automation systems.
01 The new ArmorBlock 5000 I/O 16-point configurable module is designed for scalability and is available in three industry-standard power supply models for a wide range of applications. Each module offers 8 fast and 8 standard configurable digital channels for greater adaptability to meet a wide range of application needs.
The 02I/O module can withstand harsh operating conditions and can be mounted directly on the machine without the use of a control cabinet, enabling a decentralized design. With a high-performance zero-cabinet architecture, manufacturers can benefit from reducing wiring costs, improving installation and maintenance efficiency, and simplifying machine design.
03 Configurable I/O modules enable real-time process monitoring and more intelligent control through input timestamp, event sequential recording (SOE) and predetermined output functions. With the ability to synchronize input timestamps with output triggers and system clocks, machine accuracy is improved, troubleshooting is improved, and overall system reliability is increased.
04 module comes with a secure web server, easy to configure the I/O module through the browser, to ensure a more secure control of the network environment. In addition, combined with the option to customize dedicated subnets for module IP addresses, enterprises can improve network security and operational resilience. The new ArmorBlock 5000 I/O 16-point configurable module helps manufacturers increase efficiency, reduce time to market and improve business performance.
