EULYNX Project controllers are used in German railway projects
The first result of the collaboration was the joint development of the EULYNX project controller. It converts the digital control commands of the interlocking device into signals for trackside components. Pilmagnetic’s contribution is the safe and innovative railway controller PSS 4000-R. This solution is versatile and can be applied to different projects. The EULYNX standard provides manufacturer-independent interfaces for various control and safety technology components. “High-performance COTS (off-the-shelf commercial) computers and components offer great advantages for the digitization of railway infrastructure,” explains Tilo Brandis. Therefore, technology is the foundation of the future of the railway industry.
The PIR Magnetic Project controller will be available as early as this autumn: In the “Zwieseler Spinne” area network project, Pintsch uses PIR magnetic technology to demonstrate the practical implementation of a digital solution that modernizes signal and interlocking technology. The project is part of the Fast Track initiative implemented by the German Federal government, the rail industry and Deutsche Bahn (DB).
