As a practitioner and enabler of digital and green low-carbon “dual transformation”, Schneider Electric has begun to combine AI technology with digital energy management system to insert digital wings for carbon emission management. Jin Yanping introduced: “Recently, Schneider Electric released a new digital product SpaceLogic™ AI BOX (Building Energy Saving Box), for the building industry energy consumption accounts for 45% of the HVAC system, using AI data mining and machine learning, through the digital twin, modeling verification, system tuning and energy saving monitoring four functions. Simulation and prediction for HVAC systems to deliver carbon visibility, improved energy efficiency, cost reduction, and informed decision making value.”
AI technology has a significant supporting role in carbon reduction. In order to verify the actual energy-saving effect of SpaceLogic AI BOX, Schneider Electric first applied the product in the Wuxi factory of Schneider Electric. At the meeting, Jin Yanping shared a series of achievements made by the factory under the power of AI technology: Wuxi factory is Schneider Electric’s first official end-to-end “lighthouse factory” in China, and has achieved 100% green electricity consumption; With the further empowerment of SpaceLogic AI BOX (building energy saving box), the air-conditioning energy consumption of the plant decreased from 46% to 36%, and the actual operation energy saving rate in April also reached 21%, and the energy saving effect was remarkable.
