2023 SKF’s new product launch in the second half of the year came to a successful end. With the theme of “Reconstruction and rotation, driving the era”, this conference released a number of green new products for the four major fields of energy, transportation, buildings and factories, and a number of intelligent solutions for different industries and different application scenarios. SKF has always been committed to clean and sustainable development, this time from green energy, green transportation, green buildings, green factories four dimensions to make urban development more clean and efficient.

In terms of green energy, the demand for green travel has promoted the continuous expansion of the new energy vehicle market. In the face of the high requirements of new energy vehicle manufacturing, SKF’s product solutions provide important support for the development of lithium battery technology. The spherical roller bearings applied to cathode rollers and the deep groove ball bearings stirred by chain clips are designed to inject “acceleration” into the rapid development of the new energy automobile industry. In terms of focusing on green transportation, based on the rapid development of urban rail transit networks and facilities, shield tunneling machines, which play an important role in rail tunnel tunneling, have become the core key to promote development. SKF has released high-performance tapered roller bearings for shield machine tool head applications, further improving bearing capacity, sealing performance and ease of installation. In terms of green buildings, the pursuit of efficiency and experience in high-rise commuting is increasing in built-up cities, and SKF’s new silent series of spherical bar roller bearings can be used in high-speed elevators to provide an extremely quiet experience while ensuring safety and reliability. For the green factory, SKF has introduced a new bearing installation service tool and SKF PEAC’s new generation of high-performance PTFE seals that reduce wear, reduce leaks and increase efficiency, helping customers achieve green factory goals throughout the rotating equipment lifecycle.
