Just today, the “Digital Intelligence Pioneer Digital Innovation Center” of Siemens Intelligent Infrastructure Group was officially unveiled.
This is the first innovation research studio of SI China to continuously enable low-carbon intelligent transformation and development with digital technology, aiming to respond to the call of The State Council to encourage the construction of “innovation unions” and encourage the establishment of foreign innovation centers in order to promote the high-quality development of the industry. Mr. Hu Xiaohui, General Manager of East China Region of Siemens China Intelligent Infrastructure Group, Mr. Wang Jianguo, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changshu Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changshu High-tech Zone, Mr. Ye Feng, Chairman of RAND Group and Mr. Wen Qiming, General manager of Solutions and Services business of Siemens China Intelligent Infrastructure Group, attended the opening ceremony.
In August 2021, Siemens signed a cooperation framework agreement with RAND Group and the Changshu High-tech Zone government to jointly build the first “advanced manufacturing + Low carbon park” two-in-one demonstration project based on Siemens’ core technologies in Changshu High-tech Zone, including a digital enabling center and a smart park Internet of Things operation center. In this process, the tripartite cooperation has been continuously consolidated and deepened, resulting in the establishment of the Digital Intelligence Pioneer Digital Innovation Center.
In the future, Siemens will provide advanced digital technologies, products and solutions, and work with RAND Group to empower local enterprises in Changshu, promote industrial intelligent transformation, digital transformation, energy conservation and emission reduction, cost reduction and efficiency, and jointly build a regional digital ecosystem to ensure the long-term sustainable development of Changshu’s digital economy.
On the same day, Siemens also participated in the launch ceremony of the China-Europe (Germany) MOBO Joint Innovation Center. The EU-Europe MOBO (Germany) Joint Innovation Center has established six innovation research centers for RAND Group together with multiple partners including Siemens China, focusing on target industries such as advanced manufacturing, low carbon, smart healthcare and new energy, and conducting cross-border cooperation in scientific research innovation, talent training, industrialization of scientific research results and accelerated technology transfer. Integrate and cooperate to fully create the new advantages of Changshu’s economic development.
