On December 15, Siemens, together with Taicang Municipal Government, Taicang Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and Taicang Cultural and Education Investment Group Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Taicang Cultural and Education Investment Group), held the Siemens Low Carbon Digital Innovation Forum with the theme of “Empowering digital intelligence, embracing a sustainable future”, bringing together many partners and customers. On the topic of how to empower the digital and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of cities through innovative technologies and solutions to achieve high-quality development, dialogue and discussion will be held to discuss cooperation and seek common opportunities. The forum also held Taicang Zhihuigu smart park management platform SC Insights X launch ceremony and Taicang Aerospace Low carbon digital empowerment Center signing ceremony, which indicates that green and low-carbon development is the key to China’s economic and social development of high quality, digitalization is one of the important ways to promote enterprises to achieve green and low carbon development.” Lin Bin, Executive Vice President of Siemens (China) Co., LTD., and general manager of Siemens Greater China Intelligent Infrastructure Group, said, “Taicang is the ‘hometown of German enterprises’ in China, and we look forward to working with Taicang to actively explore the construction standards and carbon neutrality path of zero-carbon parks, and promote the collaborative transformation of low-carbon digital economy in the region. It will serve as a model for China-Germany cooperation and the green and sustainable development of Chinese cities.” At the forum, Siemens introduced its innovative technologies and solutions in zero-carbon parks, energy carbon management, green factories, smart green distribution networks, and digital industries in detail, and fully
exchanged and discussed with the participants. For example, the Siemens Smart Energy carbon management platform Smart ECX, known as the “energy and low carbon expert around”, has been launched on the Siemens Xcelerator platform, which can realize carbon emission accounting, carbon reduction planning, carbon footprint real-time monitoring, etc., so that customers can clear the carbon emission situation of the plant, and can take corresponding measures to achieve carbon reduction according to the system recommendations. At present, Smart ECX has been widely used in China, including helping to build the first “light storage direct soft” zero-carbon business hall in Beijing and realize the energy consumption monitoring and optimization of the MOBO Collaborative Innovation Industrial Park in Changshu High-tech Zone. In addition, with the access of new energy and the popularity of electric vehicles, the current situation of distribution networks is becoming more complex. In the application scenario of intelligent power distribution, Siemens NXpower can help users reduce device fault time and reduce operation and maintenance costs. Siemens PSS DE and MGMS software help users maximize energy efficiency and economy in integrated energy and source-grid storage applications, helping to realize new power systems.
At the forum, the launch ceremony of SC Insights X, Taicang Zhihuigu smart park management platform, was also held. Siemens and Taicang City Culture and Education Investment Group signed a cooperation framework agreement in September this year to plan and deliver the Taicang Zhihuigu Smart Park to SC Insights X, the Siemens smart park management platform, which is now officially launched and started operation. Siemens’ smart park management platform SC Insights X integrates the park’s carbon monitoring, asset management, video surveillance, investment management and other major functional modules, deeply integrating IT and OT, which can break the data barriers of park operation and management, integrate major intelligent subsystems, and achieve unified information display, data analysis, centralized management and overall optimization. Empower the park’s data-intelligence integration ability and green and low-carbon development level, and help build a zero-carbon smart park benchmark demonstration project.
At the same time, Siemens and Taicang City Culture and Education Investment Group also signed a new cooperation framework agreement at the forum, the two sides will work together to build the Taicang aerospace low-carbon digital empowerment center, a comprehensive display of digital twin and additive manufacturing and other advanced technologies as the core of the integration of virtual and real future manufacturing scenarios. And with the empowerment center and its operating entities to provide local enterprises with digital display experience, digital transformation and upgrading, professional personnel training and program verification and other services. In addition, the two sides will actively explore the low-carbon smart park as the carrier, take the lead in the establishment of a low-carbon platform and low-carbon demonstration building in Zhihuigu, promote the dual-carbon technology to the park and surrounding enterprises, jointly improve the service level of Taicang Aerospace Industrial Park, and help the digital transformation and upgrading of Taicang City and sustainable development.
