Bosch Rexroth developers have improved the frame rigidity of the new generation of PSK precision modules. Two accuracy levels cover a wide range of application scenarios in a more economical way. The new PSK precision module from Bosch Rexroth uses a ball screw assembly sealed on both sides and an extended lubrication concept to better meet the requirements of semiconductor production and the electronics industry.
The series is available in three sizes. The modules are framed with smooth, compact and rigid precision steel profiles and are equipped with integrated guides. The installation base edge side is optional, so the assembly speed is increased, and the shaft alignment operation is easier. The frame has greater torsional stiffness and a higher plane moment of inertia compared to the previous model.
Precision modules from Bosch Rexroth are available in two levels of accuracy, making it possible to meet various mechanical requirements in cleaner production in a more economical manner. The optional magnetic sensor can be set up over the entire travel range.
At the same time, Bosch Rexroth has extended the concept of lubrication by adding additional types of lubrication. The standard version uses standard industrial lubricants for initial lubrication. It is also possible to leave the slider and ball screw assembly in a non-lubricated state for future use of approved lubricants. The module can be connected to a central lubrication system using a liquid lubricant. Automatic re-lubrication does not allow for non-compliance with lubrication interval requirements due to human error, thus improving operational safety. Not having to provide access to manual lubrication procedures also gives engineers greater freedom.
The engineering process is also easier to use. The selection process uses the selection design tool LinSelect and subsequent online configuration tools, including drives, to make it easy to operate, and customized PSK solutions can be finalized and ordered in minutes. The online configurator guides users through the product specification process in a simple and reliable way and is available in most common languages.
Bosch Rexroth offers a fully digital engineering design process from design to ordering, including pricing and CAD data. Order confirmation also includes an explicit material number for reordering specific linear modules without the need to configure them again. The relevant 2D and 3D CAD data is also immediately sent to the user.
