The 14th China Petrochemical Major Engineering Instrument Control Technology Summit Forum was held in Xiamen, Fujian province. Petrochemical industry experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives gathered together to discuss the topic of “in-depth enabling high-quality intelligent development of petrochemical automation industry chain”. Liu Decheng, vice president of Hangzhou Hollyse Automation Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the meeting, Liu Fenmin, deputy general manager of product management Department, and Zheng Yi, manager of major project Engineering Department, attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech.
The core competitiveness of Hollysys lies in technological innovation, OCS Industrial Light bus control system (hereinafter referred to as OCS) is a new generation of process industrial control system launched by Hollysys. Based on a new system design concept, OCS integrates two new technologies, industrial light bus and software-defined I/O, bringing disruptive changes to process industrial control. Liu Fenmin, deputy general manager of Product management Department of Hangzhou Hollyse Automation Co., Ltd. mentioned in his speech at the conference: “OCS can bring significant economic benefits to users in terms of simplifying engineering design and implementation, reducing project construction time, reducing project construction costs, and saving long-term operating costs.” Since its introduction, the product has received a warm response and stood out in the fierce bidding of several ultra-large scale petrochemical and chemical projects. In the 1.2 million tons ethylene project of Sinopec Tianjin Nangang, more than 10,000 I/O points of ethylene cracking furnace and 600,000 tons/year cracking gasoline hydrogenation devices have adopted Hollysys’ latest self-developed OCS system.
Hollysys has a wealth of large-scale petrochemical, modern coal chemical MAV project management capabilities and implementation experience, project management process and engineering design specifications lead the industry standard. The Zhongan Coalification Integration Project is a landmark project of the whole process integration of Sinopec’s coal chemical business. The project scale is very large, with about 80,000 physical I/O points. Zheng Yi, manager of major Project Engineering Department of Hangzhou Hollysys Automation Co., Ltd. introduced the project implementation process in his speech at the meeting: “Hollysys participated in the construction of the project in the mode of MAV, gathered more than 50 experienced industry experts and technical backbones, and worked hard over 1,000 days and nights to assist Zhongan in opening up the whole process on July 31, 2019, creating the record of the shortest one-time driving time for a device of the same scale.” In this project, for the first time successfully realized the application of domestic control system in large-scale coal chemical projects with independent patented process technology, and the project won the title of “Science and Technology Progress Award” of China’s Petroleum and chemical automation Industry in 2019 and 2020, and the title of “Most Influential Project” in the automation field in 2019.
The conference and Ritz also demonstrated the iDTU (Industrial Light Bus Intelligent Data Transmission Unit) equipment and “HOLLiAS® Petrochemical integration Solution”, the main components of the OCS system, attracting a large number of participants to stop and visit.
