In 2021, Caspar joined AVEVA as Chief revenue Officer and became Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Recently, Schneider Electric fully acquired AVEVA Software, Caspar as AVEVA software CEO, will also become a member of Schneider Electric Executive Committee.

Prior to joining AVEVA, Caspar served as President of Schneider Electric’s Middle East and Africa region, managing all operations in more than 80 countries and territories. Earlier in his career, he worked at Accenture’s London office, where he was extensively involved in the digital transformation of the global energy industry. During more than a decade with Cisco, he led sales and services to develop smart city strategies, technology innovations and business master plans for the private and public sectors in Asia, including China and Japan, as well as in Australia, the United States and Europe.

Caspar takes over the role of Peter Herweck, who will become CEO of Schneider Electric on May 4, 2023.
