In order to improve the level of industrial information security protection, train professional and composite technical talents, gather together to build a national industrial information security technology exchange platform, guided by the Network Security Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, sponsored by the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, Fengtai Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. provides technical support in 2022 the sixth Industrial Information Security Skills Competition finals and Industrial Control system Digital Twin Scenario Competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”) will be held in the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center on March 19, 2023.
Since the first “Industrial Information Security Skills Competition” was successfully held in 2017, after five years of deep cultivation, it has successfully built the competition into a national industrial information security professional event brand. The sixth Industrial Information Security Skills Competition in 2022 launched the national registration in July last year, attracting a total of 285 teams and 1,018 people to participate in the competition, covering a number of industries in 31 provincial administrative regions across the country, taking nearly 4 months, through the combination of “online + offline competition” competition form. After the fierce competition of “6 track races +4 championships” preliminary and semifinal links, 50 winning teams with solid theoretical knowledge and strong practical technical ability were selected nationwide to enter the finals.

Digital twin is one of the most promising enabling technologies for intelligent manufacturing and Industry 4.0. It is widely used in various industries with the characteristics of seamless integration between network and physical space and the universal theoretical system, especially in the industrial field of manufacturing industry. With the theme of “Industrial Control System Digital Twin Scenario Competition”, relying on the high-level scientific research platform of “Key Laboratory of Industrial Information Security Perception and Evaluation Technology” of the Center, digital twins are introduced to achieve high-fidelity simulation of factory production processes, equipment operation and product design. Build DCS arena covering 13 typical industrial industries such as cement production, electric power generation, oil and gas exploitation, rail transit, gas system, urban power supply, petroleum refining, urban water supply, urban heating, equipment manufacturing, hydroelectric power generation, iron and steel process, coal process, and explore innovative solutions for industrial information security.

The finals will end on the same day, when the results will be confirmed and the award ceremony will be held, and the top 10 teams will be awarded the contest. Which ten teams will win, we will wait and see!
