In the “CDF Dialogue”, Zhao Guohua shared the vision of “working together for a New World of energy” :
“Economic development and energy use are closely linked. On the one hand, the world needs more energy to support economic and social development, and on the other hand, the climate issue is imminent. There is an urgent need to find solutions that are both development-friendly and sustainable. Throughout history, the impetus for energy change has often come from changes in the way energy is used.
As a global expert in digital transformation in energy management and automation, Schneider Electric believes that simultaneous digitization and electrification on the demand side, while focusing on the supply side, will effectively achieve economic efficiency and sustainable development.
Electrification is the most effective way to decarbonize, and digitalization is accelerating the process, and unified data integration centers enable cooperation in decarbonizing the ecological chain.”
Digitalization is the key to green development
China’s high-quality development cannot be achieved without the green and digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. Speaking on the topic “Digitalization and Green Transformation of Manufacturing Industry”, Mr Chiu pointed out that
digitalization is the key to achieving green development.
For a long time, Schneider Electric has been actively integrating digital and green transformation into its main business, and has achieved remarkable results.
Schneider Electric has 15 “green factories” certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China.
12 plants certified as “carbon neutral” by third parties;
The Wuxi plant was also awarded the title of “End-to-end Lighthouse Factory” by the World Economic Forum.
03 “China Center” strategy, enabling local “double transformation”
The dual transformation is inseparable from Schneider Electric’s unique “China center” strategy. Since its roots in China for 36 years, Schneider Electric has continuously strengthened local capabilities, concentrated talents, research and development, industrial chain, sales, service, partners and other advantages, and created an agile mechanism for the integration of research, production and marketing, so as to better meet the needs of China’s industrial upgrading.
Especially at the research and development level, China has become one of Schneider Electric’s four global research and development bases, and Chinese wisdom is constantly going to the world.
“China is one of the engines of global economic development, and we are honored to be a witness and participant in China’s development and upgrading.”
Schneider Electric will continue to strengthen the ‘China Center’, continue to improve innovation capabilities, join hands with more Chinese partners, and empower more Chinese users to accelerate transformation and upgrading.
We look forward to working with more like-minded partners in China’s modernization process to share new opportunities and build a green future.
