The PNOZ mC0 base module body provides eight safe digital inputs that can be freely combined, and two of the safe input points can also be configured by software to be used as non-safe semiconductor outputs. Its body is capable of providing four safe semiconductor outputs, each up to ISO 13849-1 PLe and IEC 61508 SIL CL 3. In addition, the body also provides 2 test pulses for monitoring the safety input loop, and the test pulse can also be used as a non-safety semiconductor output through software configuration, on-demand configuration, very flexible.
Not scalable
In order to control costs as much as possible, the PNOZ mC0 base module is not scalable and can only be used in a single machine. It is precisely this feature that makes it ideal for small applications.
Taking common small packaging equipment, printing equipment, machine tools and other models as an example, the original equipment may use 2 to 3 safety relays, safety relays may have a certain logical relationship with each other, and now the use of 1 PNOZ mC0 can solve the problem, not only saving the electrical cabinet space, but also lower cost. It can also simplify/shorten the design effort of the safety loop logic, which is perfect!
Convenience of programmable security technology
The accompanying software for the PNOZ mC0 is still PNOZmulti Configurator (version requires v11.0 onwards), which allows users to easily create professional security logic. Commonly used safety function blocks, such as emergency stop button,
safety gate, safety grating, two-hand control, etc., commonly used logic function blocks, such as doors, or doors, non-doors, RS triggers, timers, counters, etc., can be used with PNOZ mC0.
In order to further reduce user costs, the PNOZ mC0 ontology integrates the program storage unit, and users can download the security program to the hardware unit without purchasing another chip card, which virtually reduces the hardware cost of customers. Of course, since the PNOZ mC0 also integrates the chip card slot area, when the user needs to transfer/copy the program, it can still be achieved through additional chip card accessories.
