Aspen Technologies, Inc., a global leader in industrial software, announced that it has been selected by DuPont to optimize its industrial data strategy and improve accessibility, visibility and insight across its entire business. In less than two days, DuPont successfully migrated more than 20 years of historical data to the Aspen data recording system, while reducing implementation costs by 45 percent.
Rahul Bhavsar, DuPont Global Service Delivery Manager, said: “With Aspen’s assistance, this complex process, which would have taken months, was completed in a matter of days. Migrating data is a time-consuming and costly undertaking. But Aspen helped us seamlessly migrate historical data to its scalable data logging system in record time, which was critical to improving our data infrastructure across the board.”
Aspen and DuPont have partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting and business solutions, to successfully migrate DuPont’s historical data to Aspen’s data platform, which not only preserves DuPont’s 23 years of historical archives, repositories and collections, but also provides easy access, access and management. Minimize business disruption and costs during migration.
Aspen solutions bring together and store vast amounts of data from multiple sources for real-time monitoring and advanced analytics. Using this technology, DuPont now has a modern infrastructure that provides a solid foundation for its IT/OT convergence strategy.
Nicole Rennalls, vice president and general manager of Aspen DataWorks’ industrial data business, said: “Our technology greatly improves the accessibility and operability of industrial data. In the process of rapidly accumulating data, enterprises need a reliable system that can unify IT and OT data and provide contextization. We are excited to partner with DuPont to help them get ahead of the curve and realize their industrial data strategy as quickly as possible.”
