Han®S is the name of Harting’s front-mounted solution for transmitting high currents in energy storage systems. The connector is used for series or parallel connection between battery storage module units, or for connection of energy storage modules. Product development focuses on high performance, flexible connectivity and user security. In addition to the Han®S 200 series (current carrying capacity: 200A), the “little brother” Han®S 120 series also joins the family.

Han®S connectors are designed for quick replacement and smooth handling of storage units. With front panel mounting, touch security and 360 degree rotation, they represent a safe and flexible alternative to cable connectors. When installing and operating the system, users benefit from additional security and simplicity. Installation advantages:

When installed, the right Angle plug can be rotated 360° at the connection point (the cable can move with it), making it easy for positive and negative connections to be placed anywhere on the front
Greater flexibility comes from a variety of mounting options: surface mounting (screw bolt or busbar connection) and screw insertion into the housing
The Han®S screw-in housing allows the interface to be installed and removed without having to slide the entire module out of the storage cabinet
