To name a few, with the commercialization of 5G, the rapid development of the new energy vehicle market and the semiconductor industry, the market demand for electronic test and measurement has exploded. ADI’s high-performance precision signal chain and power management technology can help customers create high-quality test solutions and enhance industry influence. As the infrastructure for deploying AI applications, the market size of data centers in China has continued to grow at an average annual growth rate of nearly 30% in the past five years. ADI’s end-to-end data center solutions include advanced power management, optical control solutions and sensor solutions, which can support data centers from the edge to the very large scale. Not long ago, the retail penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China exceeded 40% for the first time, proving that its long-term development trend has not changed, and our BMS technology, as the “brain” behind the battery pack, can escort the driving range and battery life of new energy vehicles; With an estimated 425 million people living with diabetes worldwide, daily blood glucose management has become a requirement for many families. ADI’s solutions for Continuous blood glucose Monitoring (CGM) offer low power consumption, high precision and high reliability, enabling customers to achieve long life diagnostic precision CGM products that make blood glucose monitoring efficient, lightweight and less invasive for patients. It has a broad market space.
Working with customers to address digital transformation challenges
Not only that, we also need to deeply understand the thorny problems encountered by customers, strengthen collaborative innovation, and work with customers to cope with new changes. This means that we should plan and think about how to help customers reduce costs and increase efficiency from a global perspective, strengthen market competitiveness, and be the confidant of customers on the road of digital transformation.
In view of this, we hope to grasp every platform for innovative technology exchange with Chinese customers, and in-depth understanding of the innovation opportunities in the Chinese market. In November last year, ADI debuted at the CIIE under the theme of “Activating edge Intelligence, Building a Digital China”, showing the role of semiconductor technology, especially intelligent edge technology, in industrial digitalization. Taking this as an opportunity, we conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges with new and old friends around industry hot topics, technology development trends and other topics, and reached important strategic cooperation with a number of enterprises to continue to deepen the local market and jointly promote industry innovation and development.
On a daily basis, ADI senses what customers need and provides them with technical expertise, support and resources to accelerate digital transformation. Over the past year, we have tailored system solutions to meet the needs of many customers. For example, we provide MEMS sensor technology support for Vision’s new generation of smart fans, enabling safer fan operation and design by enhancing real-time monitoring of vibration, tilt and other information, and taking fan safety to a new level. Together with Yutong Group, we also launched the first wireless battery management system for the electric heavy-duty vehicle market and applied it to Yutong’s current and future electric heavy-duty vehicle platforms, including tractors and buses. I think these practices also meet people’s innermost pursuit and yearning for a safer, greener, healthier and more efficient way of life.
At the same time, in terms of ensuring the stability and resilience of the supply chain, ADI insists on improving the supply guarantee of products in China from all aspects.
