Comau wins Best Investor Award at China Awards. The award is co-organized by the Italy-China Foundation and the Italian media group Class Editori, co-organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce. The “China Awards” event, which has been successfully held for 17 years, presents important awards every year to Italian and Chinese companies that have been recognized for their successful investment and international operations in the Chinese and Italian markets.
Comau received the award for the automated electric drive assembly line it developed and deployed for Geely Auto at its Ningbo Wei Rui plant. The delivered production line uses a flexible automatic production system to complete the assembly of the permanent magnet motor rotor, reducer and electric drive system, and is equipped with automatic quality control and testing. This innovative solution doubles plant automation to support an annual capacity of 120,000 units.

The award ceremony was held at the Leonardo Da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, where Luca Fameli, Director of International Sales Operations of Comau China, attended and received the Best Investor Award from the
