Recently, with the start of the 3# reciprocating compressor unit of Qinshui Branch Gas transmission Station of Shanxi Gas Transmission Branch of the State pipeline network, the first domestic reciprocating compressor control system of Qinshui Station of West-East gas transmission, which is reformed by Zhongzhi Network, has officially entered the trial operation stage, which marks a key step in the localization of the reciprocating compressor control system of Qinshui Station No. 3 machine factory.

Qinshui Partial transmission gas station is located in Xiaoling Village, Longgang Town, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. It is a joint station of the west main line gas station and coalbed methane terminal station. The control system of the compressor in the station and yard is a foreign brand, which cannot be independent, safe and reliable, and the compressor has been running for more than ten years. There are many problems such as reduced performance of the touch screen, reduced reliability, unable to effectively control the automatic valve of the compressor intake by the compressor PLC system, and difficult replacement of discontinued parts. Failure to maintain in time will result in a long time, large-scale shutdown, and upgrading is imminent.

In 2021, Shanxi Gas Transmission Branch opened cooperation with Zhongcong Intelligent Network, and selected CGS-G5 series PLC products independently developed by Zhongcong technology and 100% independent and controllable to replace foreign brand products for transformation and upgrading. After the transformation, the control procedure of reciprocating cooling compressor has been greatly improved in all aspects.

Intelligent temperature control: The fan automatically starts and stops according to the inlet and outlet temperature.
Automatic control: The field valve is automatically controlled by the compressor PLC control system.
One-click start and stop: the original compressor start and stop need more than one person to complete the operation, has now achieved a single complete operation, automatic purging, saving labor costs.
Optimization process: reciprocating compressor control cabinet supporting domestic 10-inch LCD touch screen, simple interface design to further improve the process operation flow.
This project is the first attempt of CTC in the upgrading and upgrading of reciprocating compressor. During the renovation process, difficulties such as unclear site cable number, insufficient length, conflict between new cabinet and on-site equipment were encountered.
